Makeup can definitely help us feel confident in many ways. In this video I show you a look that came out different that I planned, and I really liked that! What I want you to do, is to completely personalise your “confidence look” according to your products, your makeup habits and the occasion.
Bronzing and Contouring get us very often confused and we end up not knowing when to do which and how to apply the appropriate products. In this video I’ll talk to you about the shades of the bronzers and contouring products and I’ll quickly demonstrate how to apply each.

The ultimate expression of maturity, appears to be “knowing what you want” and then figure out how to get it. In other words be a “go getter”. But the truth is, we receive so many contradictory signals all day long, that’s so easy to get confused and actually not knowing what you want. That’s totally fine! There is a quick way to find out, if not for really deep and philosophical matters, at least for simple everyday things in life.
It’s June already and instead of choosing to show you summer trends and suggested sunscreens, I chose to take you through my favourite (Pink!) stuff and my favourite makeup tips. Even though I love explaining makeup techniques in my videos (I must have a teacher in me!), my favourite topic in this issue is “How to turn your makeup routine into a meditation”. I won’t tell you more, I reveal all about it here.
Since April, when I published issue 1, I radically changed the way I deliver my content. Instead of publishing blog posts every now and then, I decided to create a monthly issue with all the topics I want to talk to you about. That way I’m much more focused to create and publish all the content “at once” on the site and then present it to you in social media piece by piece.
Take a refreshing drink (I have some coconut water next to my keyboard right now) and enjoy my first summer issue!

It might sound too “yogi”, too “new age” or even too much time, but you can keep your 10-minute makeup routine, a 10-minute routine. What you’ll need to do is focus on what you’re doing, leave out all the rest and enjoy your makeup. See, smell, feel your products and actually love them and the process of applying makeup.
Now, I know (and I mean I-know!) how busy life can get and how difficult meditating could get when your 3-year-old says “mommy” 3 times per second, but this actually is a mindfulness exercise and practice makes perfect! The best thing is that you’ll enjoy it so much that you’ll most likely get inspired to be more mindful in other areas of your life too. Just try it and let me know!

I do “believe” in energy and chakras, EFT, meditation and acupuncture, but since I don’t have the necessary knowledge, I can’t actually explain how they work with our bodies and minds, so I deeply admire those who do!
After 22 or so, I felt it was OK to be more girly and I embraced pink in some ways, but it still couldn’t much fit with the style, decoration and clothing I preferred. Now that the plae-pink is such a huge trend, I finally found more ways to implement it into my minimal-ish style and white-based decoration and Instagram feed.
I felt like continuing the theme from last month, where I showed you my Black favourites, and in this video I proudly think pink! Some things might not be exactly pink, but still girly and still favourites!

I spent more time in museums -I could literally live in V&A museum, I visited vintage stores in Kingston and had a picnic in the Isabella Plantations. I fell in love with the “Angel” neighborhood, I did some shopping and had a margarita on the 39th floor of Heron Tower. I got lost in a beautiful bookstore and I had the best cappuccino in Canary Wharf.

I WANT TO FEEL MAGICAL

I’ve been wanting a place to gather together some of my favourite tiny things and for over a year now, I have such a place in my apartment. Some might be lucky enough to have a whole room for that purpose (#altargoals !), but your altar doesn’t have to take up so much space. It could be a small table or even your nightstand. Mine is basically on my bedroom wall and on the top of two tall cabinets (tall comparing to my… curious 3-year-old!).

I DON’T KNOW HOW I WANT TO FEEL
We are wired to think what we most don’t want -it’s not you, or me, it’s human nature- and even though this seems as a flaw, it’s actually the way to know how you want to feel. Simply think of what you don’t want, what you hate, what you’d love to change/ get rid of/ run away from right now and then reverse it to a positive statement. For example: “I don’t want to feel blue” turns into “I want to feel joyful”, “I don’t want to remember that thing even happened” turns into “I want to set myself free from this memory (you won’t actually forget the event, but you might be able to see it from another perspective, from a distance).
